The National Reserve Bank of Tonga (Reserve Bank) was established on 1 July 1989 as the central bank of Tonga.

The principal objectives of the Reserve Bank shall be to maintain internal and external monetary stability, promote financial stability and promote a sound and efficient financial system. The Reserve Bank shall conduct its activities in a manner that supports macroeconomic stability and economic growth.

   
 

2020 will be remembered as one of the challenging year for all of us.

Application forms are made available from the Reception Desk of the Bank or a copy of the form can be downloaded from this link.

Applicants are required to fill the forms in their own handwriting and to provide all the supporting documents required on the form. You can choose to submit the original copies of the supporting documents but it is strongly advised that you submit certified copies of the documents.

All applications are to be received at the Reception Area no later than 4.00 pm of the given due date. Applications should be marked as : "CONFIDENTIAL" and address to :
