PUBLIC NOTICE: Old Currency Recall
A public notice from the National Reserve Bank of Tonga to the tongan public and businesses.
The National Reserve Bank of Tonga wishes to inform the general public that the period for exchanging the old fifty paánga banknotes depicting the portrait of His Majesty King Taufaáhau Tupou IV, all the one paánga banknotes and existing coins issued prior to year 2014 will end on 31 December 2015.
Members of the public are encouraged to exchange the aforementioned banknotes and coins at the National Reserve Bank of Tonga by 31 December 2015.
